JSCB Universal Bank is a universal commercial bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan operating under a license issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Establishment of the Bank
Joint-Stock Commercial Bank Universal Bank was founded on March 20, 2001. From the moment of its establishment, the Bank has been focused on providing a wide range of banking services to individuals and legal entities, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing to regional economic development.
The Bank’s head office is located in the Fergana Region (Kokand city), which defines its strategic focus on regional development.
Stages of Development
In 2003, in order to expand its operations and strengthen its presence in the capital, the Bank opened a branch in Tashkent.
In the following years, Universal Bank consistently expanded its network by opening new offices and mini-banks, while also introducing modern banking products and services.
Starting from 2011–2012, the Bank joined international money transfer systems, including MIGOM, LIDER, UNISTREAM, and Zolotaya Korona, which significantly increased the accessibility of financial services for customers. Today, the Bank continues to systematically expand and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with international financial institutions.
In 2015, a bank branch was opened in the city of Fergana, and in 2017 — in the Buvayda district of the Fergana Region. As of today, the Bank continues to actively expand its network.
Modern Stage
In recent years, Universal Bank has been actively implementing a digitalization strategy, improving remote service channels, expanding its range of retail and corporate products, and introducing modern approaches to risk management and service quality.
